SA KAEO -- An elderly man was found by local residents to have been burned to death in a rubber plantation in Watthana Nakhon district late on Saturday night, police said. The found the charred body of Wan Jirangda, 76, of Sa Kaeo's Khlong Hat district, lying face up in the rubber plantation. The body was later sent to Watthana Nakhon Hospital for a post-mortem examination. His relatives told the police that the man went to the plantation to burn grass. They believed Wan, who was sufferring from high blood pressure and diabettes, collapsed in the burning grass after inhaling smoke.
